Blindfolded

I saw this picture of a statue in a book about Gothic churches.
I think the church where you can see this statue is in Germany. The statue was supposed to be an
allegory of the Jewish Fate, and she was blindfolded because from a
Christian view-point, the jews had not "seen the light", or something
like that. Well, I had no religious thoughts at all behind this work.
I just thought the motif was beautiful. And also the statue looked
like a man, and so on my drawing, it is meant to be a man.
